The Khumo Programme is an intensive Enterprise Development Programme funded by Khumani Mine in order to identify and develop sustainable SMME’s within the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality or Tsantsabane Local Municipality to foster supply chain diversification, compliance, economic growth and employment creation.

Existing SMME’s which comply with the following criteria are hereby invited to apply:

• Companies with a minimum of 51% black female ownership operating and trading within the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality or Tsantsabane Local Municipality for 12 months or more. (Preference to be given to companies supplying goods and services to the mining industry.)
• Companies with an annual turnover of less than R50 million and classified as an EME or QSE as per the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practise.
• Preference will be afforded to companies with 51% or more black youth ownership.
• Companies who are not currently suppliers to Khumani Mine.
